The hotel is situated superbly within a short stroll of Buckfast Abbey grounds, offering a quiet environment with plenty of parking. The rooms are spacious and spotless, though being on the ground floor didn't allow for opening the window. The service was very friendly and efficient, with housekeeping staff going out of their way. The dining experience may need improvement, with pre-cooked breakfast options. Overall, the hotel provides excellent value for visiting the Abbey lands.
